   I was greeted with a super friendly and smiley lady when I entered the cafe, and she served me thereafter; directed me to my seat, brought the menu to me, and nicely pointed out the soup of the day and explain what to do when I need to order. I mean, it’s the standard but she had that extra warmth. She’s super nice.

   I ordered red velvet waffle with Thai milk tea and earl grey lavender ice-cream. Not sweet and acceptable to my liking, as I don’t really take very sweet stuff; this is just right for me. The waffle is really crispy! Too crispy for me at first but it’s balanced up later on when the ice-cream melted and it wasn’t too soggy. Ice-creams were good!👍🏼 not too strong and sweet, yet the flavours stood up.

   The rest in the menu look good. Food are net priced. Will definitely be back to try their mains.

   Good attentive and courteous services rendered by both the waiter and waitress. Nice attractive presentation of food but food quality can be improved. The battered fish for the Fish & Chips dish was too soft and there was more flour instead of the fish meat. Otherwise, quite a cosy place to catch-up with friends.

   Ordered the beef burger and duck meatballs, with a waffle for dessert. All three were yummy, although the duck meatballs were a little one-dimensional, so perhaps order that to share with a group of 3-4 pax. Burger was really good – juicy and well-seared meat between two black bun – I can eat this over and over again. No picture of the burger because my fianceé and I dug right in. We tried two lavender-based flavours for the waffle and were very satisfied. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back again to try the other mains.

   Food was good and price was reasonable. But customer service was not really there. Willing to let you stand in front of them for 15 minutes while they do their own thing without acknowledging you

   Food and waffle is good but the egg was not cooked, still had transparent whites. Definitely not my kind of lunch. But for the waffles, go for it!
