Really lovely place with great food.
Wood fired dishes are my favourite from this place.
Upon entry the front of house staff member was quite cold to our arrival as we were bubbly and laughing we found that she showed us the feel of this place.
Toilets were well furnished and tootle paper is great. But dark in there however so I was notsure what I was wiping

Our reservation was for 6.45pm and we were a little late because car parking is only on street and we drove around the block a couple of times. Once seated the menu was explained to us and we went for the chef’s menu being an unknown delivery of meals. Overall we had 8 tasting plates plus desert and at the end we were really satisfied. At each course the food was explained and wait service was excellent. A fantastic night overall.

1. oily croquettes, oil overpowering taste of the croquette.
2. old and overcook broccolini, there was missing the crispness of the veggie, luck of freshness covered by the excess of spices.
3. pork was cold and undercooked, it had a taste of badly done speck taken from the fridge.
4. waiter backside was resting on our table while he had good chat with peoples on the next table.
5. waiter dropped utensils on the floor and did not bother to bring replacements.
6. Very bad birthday experience.

Good experience all round. Interesting wine list with knowledgeable staff in support. Chefs menu was a mixture of challenges and surprises. More hits than misses – and we were well entertained! A good night for a big table.

Delicious! A little exxy but great food, all were hits. We asked for a chef’s selection of vegetarian dishes. Was a little worried as the menu is very meat heavy but they managed to make vegetarian versions that were bang on! Full of flavour, different daring combinations but they all worked. Nice drinks menu too, I enjoyed the house special GnT.
