My favorite steakhouse in Singapore. I don’t just come here for steaks – I come here to enjoy fantastic service and delicious southern style cuisine. The crab cakes are perfectly cooked, crispy outside, juicy on the inside. They have gumbo! This is such a rare dish in Singapore – so you should ask ahead when making your reservation. For the main course, go with the cowboy ribeye. The bone infuses so much more flavor into the steak, you will be blown away. I’m not normally a fan of mushrooms but in this case, I order mushrooms because the way they do it is delicious. There’s no overpowering smell, it’s perfectly balanced with a hint of acidity. The desserts are so surprisingly. With main courses this heavy, they put a twist on every dessert so you can actually enjoy it despite the heavy meal. Try the cheesecake or the chocolate chip bread pudding (with orange liqueur custard).
It was such a wonderful experience and the service made me feel like I was being fed by friends.

Visited Ruth’s Chris Steak House for the second time. Ordered Petite Filet it was good very soft, tender although a little bit dry. However when I tasted New York Strip oh wow big surprised for me. I have enjoyed the it better. It’s more delicious and very juicy. As a matter of fact I’m coming back again next week for more New York Strip.Service was fine at all. Staff were all friendly.

Amazing steakhouse. We had a table next to a window and the canal view was amazing, it made the experience more awesome. We ordered some appetizers and sides to share because the dishes are very big, and we still left some food. The taste of the steak was amazing one of the best places in Hong Kong, I would visit it again.

Steak Lover’s should definitely give Ruth’s Chris a try. Contrary to the 5* hotel it is sitting in, the restaurant offers a rustic meal that focuses on what it should – the food.

Start off the meal with appetisers of your choice – the Sizzling Blue Crab Cakes come highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Each lump of crab cake is chock full of blue crab bits still juicy and sweet, contrasting sharply with the lemon butter it was served with.

Ruth’s touts having prime USDA beef, which comes across strongly in the Porterhouse cut. Weighing in at 40 ounces (1.13kg), the glorious cut is served on a 500 degree plate, continuing to cook the meat even after it has been served. Each diner is also given his/her own heated plate, complete with butter to cook the beef to taste.

Tender, juicy and beefy goodness – it hits all the right notes I’m looking for in my steak. I would perhaps appreciate an offer to cook the rarer parts of the steak, and having such a big bone does make me feel a little shortchanged for $100+.
