May not be a fair review as the cuisine wasn’t really to my, as well as my whole family, liking.

Service and ambience – The service was pretty standard for a restaurant like this, albeit the decor in the shop that makes this restaurant ever so slightly upscale.

Food and menu – We don’t find much food that we enjoy in the menu itself as compared to the traditional Chinese cuisines served in many other rival restaurants. The flavour for each dish that we ordered was merely A-O-K, nothing in particular stands out as good.

Price – This is undoubtedly the one that drags this review down. The dishes as below costs $103, and no one was full..

All in all, we may not have ordered the right dishes and probably because it wasn’t to our liking. That said, many others think otherwise as there’s constantly a queue.

Noodles is great. Chilli is fantastic. Didn’t know that the fried pig trotter only skin and fats, meat all removed. Would give more stars if wasn’t kept interrupted by the service staffs.

Food is as great as usual. Key thing about Putien is the taste, saltiness, oil level etc is just right.

Special mention to their meticulous and excellent service staff Hong Yuan. Yesterday when we pointed out that our steam fish is not fully cooked, only Hong Yuan was observant enough to agree that we are right and even promptly went to the kitchen personally to give them instructions.

    Such service is really exemplary.

Went to jurong point branch very nice service and nice food. The chili and meesua was awesome. Lor mee soup was soaked with Al the pork essence and dried scallop essence. Staff took the extra mile to refill for me non stop.
