Food was okay, a decent brunch and generally good options. The staff were not ever really able to answer questions without going back and checking with someone, however were friendly and accommodating. Overall a good place to eat brunch if you are in that area

I’ve been here 3 times. Service is either haughty or lazy, I can’t decide. It’s also a bit odd that every time I visited, I had to eat my dinner on high chairs and tables (a decidedly bar-like set-up) instead of in the adjoining dining room with furniture of more reasonable height.

Food is quite expensive and not worth the money, I think.

The only great thing going for LOTS Gourmet is the beautiful decor.

Go here if you want to have a middling meal.

Update: Came back for the 4th time. I couldn’t let go of the hope that a place with such lovely interiors shouldn’t be my weekly hang-out spot after tennis. I also had to resolve my ambivalence about the service once and for all, and I am sad to say I did. Service was holistically terrible. They really scaled the peaks on my visit. The A/C was frigid in that famous high-chair area so I requested to sit outside (it was night-time and the outdoor section was open); the server said “let me check” and disappeared. Our food took a lifetime to arrive. Efforts to catch any server’s eye failed; sticking an arm into the air did no better. We were served the wrong dishes twice. The indoor music grew louder and hammered at our heads. It felt like time was melting. Suddenly a techno beat blasted outside. I cast a melancholic eye over the rest of the tables – plates and glasses remained uncleared, the remnants of a battlefield.

One good thing, I must admit, that service became top-notch when we managed to snag a server for the bill. The bill came fast. Currency was paid. We skedaddled from the place, fast.

Small and delightful. Has a laid back ambience. Limited indoor seats, all high chairs and tables. Has outdoor seats by the sea. True dinner. Fish and chips, portabello fries were above average. Steak and average. Pasta was unremarkable.

So the OWNER mind you of the restaurant walks away from talking to you in a dispute about attributing the 10% service charge for take away items. Kudos to the young gentleman for behaving more civil like than the owner. I have been coming to the restaurant heaps and have spent heaps of money. I am not sure l will return. If an owner of a restaurant can be this rude suffice it to say it reflects on the way business is conducted. May l suggest the Changi Sailing Club tremendous service or Changi Beach Club. I agree with Carol horrible service.

Tucked in a corner in the east, this lovely spot was a nice place to have dinner on a Sunday evening. It wasn’t busy at 5.30pm. They do have an outdoor area if it gets busy. Staff were attentive and nice. Will definitely visit again.
