There is a 3 course executive lunch for a mid range price. Wine is available and the list looked very ample. We ordered club sodas since this was the middle of the day. I called ahead for some vegan options and the chef did prepare 3 really excellent dishes for me. Portions are a bit on the small side at lunch, maybe different at dinner.

Am I glad that I visited the Re-union Exhibition at the National Museum (after 45 years) last night. For otherwise I won’t get to discover The Flute. It was Friday night yet the place was almost empty due to the two-day Singapore Night Festival. Not only we could get a good table but also the $54++ per person set dinner.

The food is excellent and creatively fusion. The service is excellent. The ambiance is refined and colonial themed.

A good place for romantic date nights and corporate deal sealing.

I sometimes take visitors here if they want contemporary fine dining but in a typical Singaporean setting. While its not cheap, it doesn’t disappoint. Must mention the wonderful manager Mr. Ali and Ruth who was our liaison for the whole event. Friends and family loved the food, drinks and service.

Had lunch there. The service is very good, the staff put in extra effort to serve and remove plates very quietly and discreetly. The bread served was very warm. The presentation of all the courses is beautiful, the food is delicious. Unfortunately the Barramundi in the main course was not as fresh as I would expect. Coffee and tea also took some time to be served.
