   Reasonably priced for crab beehoon! You get 2 small crabs but they are meaty n sweet! Try the deep fried fish skin, they are.good too.

   Saw reviews that their crab bee hoon was good. Disappointed that I didn’t manage to try as they got my order wrong. Gave me crabs without bee hoon instead. Crabs are not fresh. Bad experience. Tried the salted egg yolk, no taste.

   Food is decent and we found a hair first in my wife’s chrysanthemum tea but we brushed it off. While i was enjoying the deep fried soon hock fish, i found another hair on the first which i promptly told the them. The lady boss, i presume, as her photo was taken with many celebrities told me that she investigated but ‘could not find the cause’.

   Overall food is decent but they added MSG which is not too my liking. I paid nearly $200++ in total for a lunch of promotional crabs at $38++, a vegetable, the bamboo clams as seen, fish at $81++ and the yam paste. Our regular place is the Yi Jia restaurant just next door but because it’s my wife birthday tomorrow and we wanted to try something new. There lady boss asked the staff to offer us a free slice of coconut jelly but seriously it was not necessary.

   All we wanted was a sincere apology, telling me she ‘could not find the cause’ is making me very disappointed thus the bad review.

   I rather have no MSG, no hairs and just a sincere apology. No amount of photos on the wall or reviews can convince me that this is a place that i will visit again.

   The deal for two crabs was fantastic. The flavour, quality and quantity was not compromise at that low cost promotion!

   We ordered small size portion for the other dishes, it was really small but it was adequate for all 4 of us. The place is rather small thus you should consider calling ahead to book yourself a table before going down.

   One of those places that we have heard about on its food offerings and the affordable prices but hardly had time or opportunity to go to.

   Finally…. we belatedly went to try out over the weekend. As the saying goes, better late than never! It totally well deserves its reputation as a food haven, place for gourmets and a place for the discerning.

   The food offerings are really good, from the basic crab offerings to the special ones like the steamed shark head! Oh my god! Truly good.

   Recommend to all!
