Prata been crispy when I was a kid. That’s the only way I love prata to be done. Strange how now it’s rare, like this one.. Other than being crispy, the dough is below average. Will visit here only if I cannot wake up for the crispy prata at Joo Chiat.

No need to say much. It sells one of the BEST PRATA in Hougang area. The ones in Jalan Kayu also need to stand one side to chillax. Those at Jalan Kayu is good but if you ask me to choose, I would rate them to be my PRATA IDOL.
Their curry is no spicy and it’s very flavourful. PRATA is inexpensive at $1/pc for kosong and it’s OMG crispily fragranced to the max sia! Must try!
It’s very crowded during normal morning / lunch peak period, so avoid that timing. Go during off peak like after 2pm or 3pm. Guarantee no need to wait until your hair drop. One warning though, if you are going to meet your girlfriend or boyfriend after this prata, better to put on a rain coat while waiting for your prata fix cos you will smell like walking prata if you stand there for more tha. 3 mins. Guarantee plus chop.
They also have nice bak chor mee there, nice to eat it with some bak yew kor (fried pork lard).

    Happy chowing down!!

One of the best roti prata in Singapore, specialises in crispy prata, I alway order the mutton curry as well. Expect a Long que during peak hours especially during the weekends. They have also incorporated vegetables dishes and they taste quite fresh and refreshing too. Highly recommend. Min order of 2 plain plata. Several other outlets all over the island too.
