   Beer ladies. Enamored beer uncles. Usual hawker foods at Changi Village prices. Usual youngsters in usual beach activities. For sure the old village charm is gone. The coffee shops have given way to upmarket restaurants and bistros.

   Watch out for traffic cameras along main road. I was fined for waiting to for cars to zoom by before easing into parking space. Sway
