Sweet Sensation: Dessert in 3 minutes! Combine the remnants of your leftover coffee, a dash of Gran Marnier, and/or dash of brandy. In two martini glasses, layer a heaping tablespoon of mascarpone cheese, lady fingers broken in half and dipped in coffee mixture, and then finish with a large dollop of the mascarpone. Shave chocolate or garnish with broken piece of a dark cocoa bar. Refrigerate until ready to consume.
Inspired by Butah restaurant in Casablanca, Chile. A spin-off of tiramisu.
Serve with late harvest white wine. In this type of vinification, the grapes are held on the vine to maintain maximum residual sugar. A sweet wine, sometimes a dessert in itself, has a slightly syrup-like texture with a sensational finesse.
